CELESTIAL EARTH
Rocks are the most solid thing on this planet – they’ve been here since the start – layers of time and space are a part of the rocks and their histories shown in the different textures and shapes they possess.
The Earth is essentially a large rock moving through space and this parallels with how the rocks in these long-exposure photographs are captured in the movement through the dark.
There’s a ethereal element to the abstraction of the light painting the momentary movement of the rock – the organic shapes and colours evoking emotions that spark with future growth. A spiritual spring.
